Track Information

The athletics track at the University of Bath is part of the Sports Training Village (STV), a premier facility designed to support both elite athletes and the general public. Here’s a detailed overview:

  • Track Info

    8-lane, 400m floodlit synthetic outdoor track

    Field event areas for long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer throw

    Indoor 120m sprint track with jump and throw facilities

    Access to strength & conditioning suites, physiotherapy, and sports science support

  • Parking

    Pay and display or permit parking available at East and West Car Parks on campus

    For sat nav, use Norwood Avenue (BA2 7BA) to reach the main entrance and visitor car parks.

  • Opening Times

    Opening Hours:

    Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

    Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    Note: Hours may vary during holidays and university closures

    Access:

    Open to students, staff, and the public on a pay-as-you-go basis or through memberships

    Online booking available via the Team Bath Connect system.

    Outdoor Track (1-hour session):

    Adults: £6.00

    Concessions (under 16s, over 60s, disabled customers, Alumni card holders, external NUS card holders): £5.40
