Track Information

The London Marathon Community Track (LMCT), previously known as the Stratford warm-up track, is located next to the London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Initially built for the 2017 IAAF World Athletics and IPC World Para Athletics Championships, it has since been transformed into a vibrant community facility.     Type & Lanes: 400m all-weather track with six lanes and two eight-lane 100m straights.

    Surface: Mondo synthetic surface, known for its durability and performance.

    Facilities:

    Comprehensive field event areas.

    Full-sized 11-a-side grass football pitch.

    Fully floodlit track and field area.

    Elevated, fully covered 300-seated spectator stand, including 12 wheelchair viewing seats.

    Male, female, and two disabled changing rooms with showers and toilets.

    Clubroom with kitchenette.

    On-site Parking: Limited on-site parking is available.

    Home to Newham and Essex Beagles, a leading athletics club in Great Britain.

    The track is also utilized by Bobby Moore Academy and Stonewall FC.

    During club training sessions, public access may be limited.

    Casual Use: The track is open to the public during designated times.

    Fees:

    £3.00 per person per session.

    Payments are cashless; card payments only.

    No booking required, but first-time users must complete a PARQ form and sign the register upon arrival.
